Never bored with Nanna....
I hate being bored.
Someone told me when I was young - it was probably my sister - that "only boring people get bored".
That is borange!
Thats right borange.
It means rubbish. It was a word created by Ross Noble and Terri Pisakis in the summer on Triple J earlier this year. It was created because no word rhymes with Orange....
I see you trying to rhyme it but its not working is it?? huh? huh? There is only borange.
Ross and Terri were hilarious! I would stay at home over the summer holidays between 10am-2pm to listen to them. They were random and silly - the best kind of humour.
Anyway, Ross and Terri were great for boredom. They created the Nanna phenomenon. This is where you print of a life-size picture of the Nanna and take random photos of her with you doing crazy things.
There was Nanna drinking tea, Nanna driving a tractor , Nanna in bed canoodling...
There is never a boring moment with Nanna. The situations that Nanna can get herself into
are endless.
Plus Nanna will always have a smile on her face.
I printed off a Nanna, she is hanging up in my sisters hallway. She likes to scare visitors by smiling sweetly.

How can anyone with a middle name of Cheese get bored? If you are ever stuck for anything to do just ring up Jo and tell her you saw a news story about a Kraken. Make up a story about a tentacle ripping a child straight out of his/her gumboots and taking him/her out to sea to a spluttering death. Oh she would love it to pieces, plus it's hours of entertainment.
